Albania is a country full of energy, tradition, and vibrant cultural expression, and its calendar is packed with events that celebrate everything from music and film to heritage and food. One of the most anticipated events each year is Kala Festival, held on the stunning Ionian coast, drawing international crowds with its mix of electronic music and beachside relaxation. Similarly, UNUM Festival in Shëngjin blends music, art, and nature into a unique open-air experience. For film lovers, the Tirana International Film Festival (TIFF) brings together filmmakers from across the globe, showcasing powerful cinematic works in the heart of Albania’s capital.

Beyond entertainment, Albania also hosts events deeply rooted in its cultural identity. The Gjirokastër National Folklore Festival, held every five years, is a colorful display of traditional music, dance, and costume from across the country, celebrated in a UNESCO World Heritage city. In autumn, the Korça Beer Festival transforms the city into a lively hub of local beer, live performances, and traditional food, attracting thousands of visitors. Whether you’re exploring ancient traditions or modern creative scenes, Albania’s events offer unforgettable ways to experience the country’s unique spirit and hospitality.
