Ermal Meta in Theatre with GnuQuartet
Mar 4, 2019 @ 20:15 - 22:15

On March 4, 2019, the famous Albanian-born singer Ermal Meta comes to the public in Tirana, with the concert “Ermal Meta in the Theater with GnuQuartet”, part of his latest tour with the Italian quartet GnuQuartet. This tour is currently being played in the most prestigious scenes in 23 cities in Italy.
GnuQuartet consists of four Italian musicians:
Raffaele Rebaudengo – Viola,
Francesca Rapetti – flaut,
Roberto Izzo – violin
Stefano Cabrera – cello.
Ermal Meta will be accompanied by Italian singer Pierfrancesco Cordio – a new name but growing in the field of Italian art.
Meta, who has won tremendous success in the Italian and international scene for three years, holds the title of the winner of the most famous Italian songwriting festival, Sanremo along with Italian singer Fabrizio Moro, with the song “Non mi avete fatto niente | calling for peace and unity, in response to the fear of the recent reality. With this song he further participates in the European Eurovision Song Contest, as a representative of Italy and ranks in one of the first countries after the electronic voting of the European public.
Meta also comes after an overflowing summer with activities, during which she performed in 45 concerts in various cities in Italy as well as on the Albanian scene through the Non We tour. At the open concert held on June 2 in Skanderbeg Square, Meta gathered as never before about 50,000 art and musician buffs in the capital.
This time the concert he intends to bring is of a different nature, unlike the first concert in Scanderbeg Square. His songs come reworked in collaboration with the Quartet in a concert that will be based on sound, guitar and bows. This concert will bring to the local audience the voice and creative genius of one of the most talented artists in Italy, which is considered a genius of Italian light music, compared with legendary authors such as DeAndre, Luccio Battisti and performing along with Italian music stars like Patty Pravo, Elisa or Antonello Venditti.
This singer who ranks on the list of best ambassadors of our country conveys a different image of Albania around the world, the image of the boy who managed to climb the stairs of success from an immigrant who passed the sea for a better future, in one of the most vocal music names in Italy. Meta is a good example and a source of inspiration and for many talented young Albanians who can do it everywhere through hard work, will and talent.
Despite the fame and scenes he performs, he always puts on his map and place of birth, Albania, where he says there are roots that will always remain there.
Albanian talent comes to the concert in his Tirana after 23 very successful concerts in the best scenes in 19 Italian cities. Ermal Meta will donate a superstate to the Congress Palace together with four talented Italian artists at GnuQuartet. On March 4 at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana artists will bring a magical atmosphere that should not be missed.
